2 pounds of ground beef
3 cans of campbells Chicken N Rice soup
3 cans of Campbells Cream of chicken soup
2 pounds of grated Colby Cheese
1 Medium chopped onion
2 Cups of chopped green chile
2 or 3 dozen corn tortillas
Brown ground beef and season with garlic salt to taste. (We like a lot of garlic)
Mix and heat the soups in a pot
Layer Ingredients in a 9X13 pan:
A little soup to barely cover bottom of pan
Tortillas(8 or so per layer)
1/2 the meat mixture (some people like a lot of meat and some don’t)
Sprinkle 1/2 the chile & ½ of the onion
Sprinkle ½ of your cheese. We like lots of cheese!
Spread enough of the soup mixture to cover the layer
Repeat beginning with tortillas and end with soup and then bake.
Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes(until bubbly). Remove from oven and let set for 15 to 30 minutes before serving.
